1.Name of Post: Administrative Officer (AO)
No of posts: 44 [UR-17, EWS-04, SC-07, ST-02, OBC-14]
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate of a recognized University securing not than 55% mark in the final degree examination or equivalent and must have a working knowledge of computer.
Pay: Pay Level 10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix [Pre-revised PB-3 Rs 15600-39100 + Rs 5400 (Grade Pay)].
2.Name of Post: Finance & Accounts Officer (F&AO)
No of posts: 21 [UR-13, EWS-02, SC-02, ST-00, OBC-04]
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate of a recognized University securing not less than 55% mark in the final degree examination or equivalent and must have working knowledge of computer.
Desirable Qualification: Specialization in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce as the Post Graduation level or professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS.
Pay: Pay Level 10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix [Pre-revised PB-3 Rs 15600-39100 + Rs 5400 (Grade Pay)].
Other Criteria of ASRB Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must have not attained the age of 30 years as on 23.08.2021.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:-
# SC/ST: Upto a maximum of five years.
# OBC: Upto a maximum of three years.
# PWD: Upto a maximum of ten years.

Syllabus of ASRB Recruitment 2021
Candidates who will submit applications for Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) and be shortlisted for the examinations will have to appear for a three-tier examination to complete the recruitment process. The details of the examinations for all three tiers are given below.
Tier-I Examination: In this tier, an objective multiple-choice paper of 200 questions of one mark each will be conducted of three hours duration having the following sections.

Negative Marking: Each wrong answer will attract a penalty of one-third of the marks originally assigned to that question.
Note: This paper will be qualifying in nature and marks scored in it will not be carried forward. The ASRB will prepare a list of candidates to be qualified for Tier-II Examination, based on the criterion of minimum qualifying marks, as may be determined by the Board and twenty top-scoring candidates for one vacancy shall be declared qualified for the Tier-II Exam from each category under which vacancies are available.
Tier-II Descriptive Examination: In this tier, each paper will be of 3 hours duration.

Note: Candidates from Tier-II Exam will be qualified for Tier-III viz. Structured Interview in the ratio of 5 candidates for each vacancy (category-wise) on the basis of their merit in Tier-II.
Tier-III (Interview): This tier will contain 100 Marks and the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of a candidate’s performance in Tier-II and Tier-III.
