Eligibility Criteria of ASRB Recruitment:
1. Head, Division of Crop Improvement
No. of Post: 1 (UR)
Place of Posting: ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Assam
Essential Qualification:
(i) Doctoral degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Genetics / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology OR Doctoral degree in Basic Science with specialization in Crop Improvement.
(ii) At least three years experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with Research Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/- (pre-revised)
(iii) Evidence of publications / activities / contributions to suggest that the candidate has a broad vision / perspective on Agricultural Research.
Desirable: Specialization and experience in the Genetics & Breeding in fields Crops.
Scale of Pay: Pay level – 14 (Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/-) of 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Age Limit: should not have attained the age of 60 years as on the closing date for submission of online applications.
2. Head, Division of Natural Resource Management

(i) Doctoral degree in Agronomy / Soil Sciences and Agricultural Chemistry / Soil and Water Conservation / Irrigation and Drainage / Water Resources / Hydrology / Land & Water Management Engineering
(ii) At least three years experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with Research Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/- (pre-revised)
(iii) Evidence of publications / activities / contributions to suggest that the candidate has a broad vision / perspective on Agricultural Research.
Desirable: Specialization in Crop Production.

(ii) At least three years experience as Principal Scientist / Professor or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with Research Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/- (pre-revised)
(iii) Evidence of publications / activities / contributions to suggest that the candidate has a broad vision / perspective on Agricultural Research.

Application Fee of ASRB Recruitment 2022:
The application fee of Rs 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) for each position should be deposited online. The fee must be paid online while filling the online application form available on the website: http://www.asrb.org.in . Payment can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ UPI from any Bank.
Application fee for each position should be paid separately for the post applied for. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
