The Director of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has published the official notification for Assam CEE 2021 Counselling. Assam CEE 2021 Counselling is being held for admission into various BE/B.Tech courses are offered by the State Engineering Colleges and other Institutions of Assam. This year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Assam CEE Counselling will be held in online mode.

The first round of online counselling for admission in to the BE/B. Tech courses of State Engineering Colleges and other Institutions, based on the Common Entrance Examination-2021 will be held from 12th September to 19th September 2021.
Eligibility Criteria to Appear in CEE Counselling
The aspiring candidates having a valid CEE 2021 score are only eligible to participate in the online counselling process. The link of the online portal will be available in https://dte.assam.gov.in for the stated period.
Document Required for Assam CEE Counselling
Candidates must upload correct and true data/documents regarding the information and especially
a) Educational qualification
b) Date of Birth
c) Caste/ Category
d) CEE/ JLEE/ JMEE Score
e) PRC and
f) Other relevant data.
Assam CEE Online Counselling Process
# The aspiring candidates must keep track of the online counselling process to participate in the counselling process. It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide his/ her response within the stipulated time in the online portal.
# Candidates must upload correct and true data/documents regarding the information and especially educational qualification, Date of Birth, Caste/ Category, CEE Score, PRC and other relevant data.
# If any given information is found false, he/she shall be disqualified al any stage and criminal proceedings will be drawn against him/her for misleading the counselling process and depriving the genuine candidates and it will be published in the public domain.
# The status of allotment of the Institution and Branch of the Candidates will be uploaded in the portal. After publication of candidate’s Institution and Branch, the candidate must submit the Acceptance Letter in the given format to receive final allotment of Institution and Branch .
# Only such candidate who accepts the admission offer and who takes admission at the allotted Institution will only be considered for further up gradation of his choice of Institution & Branch in the subsequent round of counselling, if any.
# Candidates are to take admission at the allotted institute online and attend the online classes by stipulated time.
# Candidates failing to take admission at the allotted institute and failing to attend the online classes by stipulated time without prior information and valid reasons, his/her allotment of seats will be cancelled without any notice and will be filled up by the other aspirants in order of merit list.
