Assam Higher Secondary Admission 2021 – HS 1st Year Merit List @ Darpan Portal

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is soon going to launch a platform called the “Darpan”, basically, an online web portal for Assam Higher Secondary Online Admission process to be started from 11th August 2021. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online for first year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for the academic session 2021-2022.

Assam HS Admission 2021 for Higher Secondary 1st year classes will be completed through “Darpan”, the common portal for online HS admission, to be available on AHSEC’s official website http://www.ahsec.assam.gov.in.

The principals of colleges, HS schools and senior secondary schools, willing to avail this facility, can register for the same in online mode.

For participation in the process, Institutions with valid AHSEC codes have to create their profiles by providing their Institutions’ details into the portal by visiting www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in.

How to Apply for Assam HS 1st Year Admission?

Students who want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC must apply online. They may follow the below-mentioned steps to submit their applications online.

• Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
• A portal will load, Login using your HSLC/AHM Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).
• Select your institute and fill up the online form.
• Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and necessary documents.
• Take a printout of the filled up form, and keep for future reference.
• Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.

Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List

The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2021 Merit List will be available on the Darpan portal itself. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions.  

Accordingly, the seat allotment will be available online for all students and they have to get admitted to their desired or allotted institution/ colleges within stipulated time frame . 

The merit list is going to be published by 6th September 2021 at 11 AM. Students will have to select the school or college of their choice within 7th September 2021 by visiting Darpan portal . 

How to Check AHSEC Admission Merit List?

Students who submitted their online applications for admission in to Higher Secondary 1st year under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will be able to check their admission merit list from 6th September 2021, 11 AM. The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/ AHM examination. To check category-wise Assam HS Admission 2021 Merit List, you may follow below mentioned steps .

# Click on HS 1st Year Merit List link.

# A new webpage will load – enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Security PIN and click Login.

# Darpan portal dashboard will be opened. Click on Application Submitted button.

# It will display the list of names of all of your submitted application for colleges/schools.

# Against the name of each school/ college, you will get an option to download the merit list.

# Download that PDF file to check the merit list of that particular college or school.

• Online registration by students: 16/08/2021 to 25/08/2021
• Publication of merit list by institutions: Within 31/08/2021
• Preparation of selection/waiting lists by institutes: 1st to 5th September 2021
• Publishing of selection/waiting lists: 6th September 2021, 11am
• Acknowledging Admission requests by students: 6th to 7th September 2021
• Final Admission in institutes by students: 8th to 12th September 2021
