Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of the Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2020. Candidates may apply from June 25, 2020, to July 20, 2020.

Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into the 1st Semester Class of MCA Programme of Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat, Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati for the session 2020-21. This year’s examination will be held on August 23, 2020.

Assam JMEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
a) Age between 20 years to 26 years on 1st day of July 2018
b) Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
c) A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)
* Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply.
* Provisional admission shall be permitted provided that student gives an undertaking that he/she shall be able to provide the final mark sheet/ certificate of qualifying examination within 2 months of taking admission failing which the admission of the student shall automatically stand canceled.
* Candidates seeking provisional admission shall have to clear all subjects upto 5th Semester in degree level. These students will have to produce all mark sheets up to the 5th semester for verification during Counseling.
Assam JMEE 2020 Application Fee
An Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) is to be paid online using “State Bank Collect” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept a hard copy of the Application and any other documents. The examination fee once paid, is not refundable.
Assam ASTU JMEE 2020 Admit Card
The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from August 18, 2020, onwards by putting the Application Number and Date of Birth of the Candidate.
Assam JMEE 2020 Exam Pattern
a) There will be Joint Admission Examination for Selection consisting of a Single Paper of 3 hours duration, which will consist of the following Sections:
i) Mathematics: 30 Questions
ii) Reasoning: 30 Questions
iii) English: 20 Questions
iv) Fundamentals of Computing: 20 Questions
b) Questions will be MCQ type. Every Question will carry 4 (four) marks each. 4 (four) marks will be awarded for the correct answer and 1 (one) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Assam JMEE 2020 Application Form
JMEE 2020 aspirants have to submit an online application. The application form will be available from June 25, 2020, and can be filled till July 2020.
Applicant’s need not send a copy of Application Form or any Document to ASTU Office. However, candidates may take a printout of the Application Form for his/her personal record. After submitting the Online Application Form, please follow the link provided to understand the payment process.
Documents to be uploaded:
a) Candidate Photograph: The size of the photograph must be less than 35 kb, the height of the photograph between 250 pixels to 320 pixels and width of the photograph must be between 150 pixels to 220 pixels.
b) Candidate Signature: The size of the signature must be less than 35kb, the height of the signature must be between 100 pixels to 180 pixels, and the width of the signature must be between 150 pixels to 220 pixels.
c) The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’ or ‘.jpg’ format.

Issue of Admit Cards Online: August 18, 2020, onwards till the day of examination

Declaration of Result: On or before September 1, 2020
