Education Qualification: The qualification of the candidate should be as per guideline issued by the Govt. Vide O.M. No. AHE.407/2017/44 dL 08.11.2018 which is available in the website of Director of higher education, Assam.

Candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC (minimum Standard and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/SET. Candidates must have good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) at Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science with a relaxation of 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently abled categories.

Age limitations: Candidate should not be more then 38 years as on 01.01.2019 with relaxation for SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/ MOBC/PWD as per govt. rule in force. Candidate must have a PRC and must know local language. The copy of PRC should be submitted along with the application form.

Application Fee: Rs. 1.500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred) only is to be deposited along with the application form by Demand Draft in favour of Principal, B.N. College. Dhubri drawn at SBI, Kismathasdah Branch, Dhubri.
