Name of post: Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA)

No of posts: 78 posts

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.14,000/- to Rs.60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- with other allowances as admissible from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria of BTR Recruitment

Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian Citizens as defined under Art. 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Domicile: Candidates need to be domiciled from BTR area.

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2022.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years

Educational Qualification: Candidate shall have to pass HSSLC (Science) with Biology as one of the subjects and also have to complete the one year certificate course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized school of “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry” established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.

Physical Standard: A Candidate for direct recruitment to the cadre of VFA shall be mentally and physically healthy and free from any organic defects or body infirmity likely to interfere with efficient performance of his duties and required to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.

The interested candidate may apply in standard form as per part IX of the Assam Gazette for application along with a testimonial and a self-address envelope affixing a stamp of Rs. 5/- for communication. The duly filled application should be addressed to the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board, BTR, Assam, and be submitted in the Drop Box or by Register Post at the following address.

Applicants must affix 1 (one) copy recent photograph on the space provided in the application form firmly with good quality glue/adhesive and also should enclose another copy along with the application.
