CBSE Postponed CTET July 2020 Exam Until Further Notice

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to postpone the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, CTET director and secretary, CBSE has informed that the 14th edition of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) – July 2020 scheduled to be held on July 5 is postponed.

The notice further reads that “The next date of examination will be intimated when the situation is more conducive for the conduct of examinations. All the candidates registered for CTET July 2020 are hereby informed that for any update they may visit the CTET website www.ctet.nic.in regularly.”

“In view of the present circumstances, it has been decided to postpone the #CTET examination to be conducted by #CBSE on 5 July 2020. The next date of examination will be announced if conditions are favorable,” tweeted HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.
