Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment 2023 Details:

1. Name of Post: Havilder (Grade III)

No of posts: 36

Category-wise vacancy:

• UR: 18
• OBC/MOBC: 9
• SC: 3
• ST (P): 4
• ST (H): 2

Pay: Rs. 14000 – 60500 + GP 6800 (PB-2)

Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification: Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate. The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.

2. Name of Post: Constable (Grade III)

No of posts: 211

Category-wise vacancy:

• UR: 49
• OBC/MOBC: 8
• SC: 4
• ST (P): 6
• ST (H): 110
• EWS: 34

Pay: 14000 – 60500 + GP 5600 (PB-2)

Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification: Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate.

3. Name of Post: Platoon Commander

No of posts: 4

Category-wise vacancies:

• UR: 3
• OBC/MOBC: 1

Pay: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 8700/-

Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate. 

Other Criteria of Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below. 

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
