Name of the Examination: Central Eligibility Test (CTET), July 2020
Date of Exam: July 5, 2020 (Sunday)

Timing of Examination:

PAPER-I: 09.30 am to 12.00 noon (2.30 hrs) 
PAPER-II: 02.00 pm to 04.30 pm (2.30 hrs)

Apply Online: From 24/01/2020 to 24/02/2020

Educational Qualification for CBSC CTET July 2020:

Minimum Qualifications Essential for becoming Teacher for Primary Stage i.e. Classes I-V:

HSSLC (10+2) (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

HSSLC (10+2) (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

HSSLC (10+2) (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

HSSLC (10+2) (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

OR

“Graduation securing at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”

Minimum Qualifications Essential for becoming Teacher for Elementary Stage i.e. Classes VI-VIII:

Must be Graduate and should be passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Must be Graduate scoring at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Must be Graduate scoring at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

HSSLC (12th) (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year

of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

HSSLC (12th) (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Must be Graduate scoring at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Exam Fee For CTET July 2019:

Category Only Paper I or II Both Paper I or II

SC/ ST/ Diff. Abled Person Rs.500/- Rs.600/-

Note: Relaxation will be given up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled.

Interested candidates may apply online from 24th January 2020 through https://ctet.nic.in/ Submit your online application before 24th February 2020.
