Name of post : Junior Assistant
Number of post : 13 (thirteen)
● For General Candidates – 7 posts
● For OBC Candidates -3 posts
● For SC Candidates -1 posts
● For ST (P) Candidates -1 posts
● Differently able-1 (Hearing impairment Backlog vacancy)
Salary : PB-14000-49000, GP-6200
Educational Qualification:
Candidate have to minimum Graduate in Art, Science or Commerce from a University recognized by the State Government or a Degree equivalent thereof and recognized by the Government.
Candidates must have proficiency on basic Computer application like MS Windows, Linux, Mac Excel, Power Point, DTP( English/Assamese) and internet etc. Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer application from Institute recognized by the Government.
Age limit
Candidate should not be less then 18 year’s and not more then 44 year’s as on 1st January 2018.
Upper age is relaxation
● 5 year’s age relaxation for SC, ST and PWD candidates
● 3 year’s age relaxation for OBC / MOBC candidates
Age calculate on Birth Certificate /Matriculation Certificates /HSLC Admit /Certificate issued by a recognized Board / Council Document basic. No other documents acceptable in lieu thereof for the purpose.
Selection Process:
Candidate who applying for the Junior Assistant they have to appear in the Written test as per Government Notification number GAG(B)469/2016/36, dated 15th March, 2017.
The Written test will be held on 150 marks
● General English – 75 Marks
● General Knowledge – 50 Marks
● Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Marks
● Computer theory – 50 Marks
● Language Skills – 50 Marks ( Language – Assamese /Bengali /Bodo /Alternative English)
Only the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Computer proficiency test (50 marks).
