1. Name of post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of posts: 1 (One)
Title of the Project: Diversity Assessment, in-vitro propagation and DNA barcoding of Ferns and Fern-allies of Assam.
Duration: 03 Years
Educational Qualification & Eligibility:
a) M.Sc. in Life Sciences / M.Sc. in Botany
b) NET qualified candidates will get preference.
c) Desirable experience: Candidate having experience in techniques like DNA Extraction, PCR, Sequence Analysis etc. will get preference.
2. Name of post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of posts: 1 (One)
Title of the Project: Drug Discovery approaches for the effective control of Tuberculosis -Target based virtual screening and whole cell screening of medicinal plants.
Duration: 03 Years
Educational Qualification & Eligibility:
a) M.Sc. in Life Sciences / M.Sc. in Bioinformatics
b) NET qualified candidates will get preference.
c) Desirable experience: Candidate having experience in Computer Aided Drug Designing tools, Molecular Docking, MD Simulations etc. will get preference.
Salary :
a. For Candidates with NET: Rs. 25000/- + HRA @ 10 % per month, for first 2 years, which may be enhanced to Rs 28000/- + HRA @ 10 % in the 3rd Year depending on the performance.
b. For Candidates without NET: Rs. 12000/- + HRA @ 10 % per month, for first 2 years, which may be enhanced to Rs 14000/- + HRA @ 10 % in the 3rd Year depending on the performance.
The posts are on purely temporary basis and are coterminous with the project.
