Scale of Pay: (PB-I) Rs. 12000-52000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 3900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Eligibility Criteria of Gauhati High Court Recruitment:
Maximum Age Limit: Category-wise age limits for the posts, as on the last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:-
- UR — 40 years
- OBC/MOBC — 43 years
- SC — 45 years
- ST (P) & ST (H) — 45 years
- PWD — 50 years
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: A candidate must possess a valid Registration Number of Proof of Residency Employment Exchange for the State of Assam.
Educational Qualification:
1. Minimum Class 8 pass. Candidates must have knowledge of Cooking and proficiency in Trade.
2. Candidates possessing a diploma/ certificate in Food craft/ Culinary skill/ cooking skill etc. from a recognized institute will be given preference.
3. Must have experience in cooking in a recognized institution/ establishment/ hotel etc.
Selection Process of Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2022:
Stage-1: Cooking Skill Test of 80 marks. A candidate shall have to secure at least 60% marks in the skill test i.e. 48 out of 80 marks in order to be considered qualified in the Cooking Skill Test.
Stage-2: Viva voce/ interview of 20 marks. Candidates in the ratio of 1:3 (3 candidates for 1 post) will be called to appear in the interview in order of merit from the Cooking Skill Test. In order to be considered qualified in the viva-voce, a candidate shall have to secure at least 12 marks out of 20 marks in the interview/viva-voce.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the grand total marks obtained by the candidates in the Cooking Skill Test and Interview/Viva-Voce. Where more than one candidate, obtain same grand total marks, the candidate who obtains more marks in the Cooking Skill Test will get preference. Where the marks obtained by such candidates in the cooking skill test are also same, then the candidate who is senior in age will get preference.
