IASST Guwahati Recruitment 2021 Details:

1. Finance & Accounts Officer (FAO)

No of posts: 1 (UR)

Pay: Pay Level 11 (Rs. 67,700/- to Rs. 2,08,700/-p.m.) / Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100/- to Rs.1,77,500/-). The pay carries Dearness allowance & other allowances as per Central Govt. rates.  

Educational Qualification: 

Pay Level 11:

Essential Qualification and Experience: (i) M.Com. with consistently good academic record. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting/ auditing/ costing in an academic/research/reputed organization

Desirable: (i) Qualification in SAS / CA/ ICWA or equivalent examination (ii) Experience in working with computers and other advancements in financial management; (iii) Knowledge of Central Government rules, regulations and practices in financial matters.

Age Limit: 45 years on the last date of receiving of application.

Pay Level 10:

Essential Qualification and Experience: M.Com with consistently good academic record and minimum 5 years experience in accounting/ auditing/ costing in an academic/ research/reputed organization.

Desirable: (i) Qualification in SAS / CA/ ICWA or equivalent examination (ii) Experience in working with computers and other advancements in financial management; (iii) Knowledge of Central Government rules, regulations and practices in financial matters.

2. Account Assistant

No of posts: 1

Age Limit: Candidates should be below 30 years of age on the date of advertisement.

Educational Qualification: (a) B.Com from a recognized university, (b) Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and MS Excel.

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Government Organization/ University/ Research Institution handling Accounts and purchase related works independently. Should have very good verbal and written communication skills and should be comfortable in using English for verbal and written communication.
