IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2019 details:
Name of post: Language Trainer for English Communication
Number of posts: 02 (two)
Job Profile: The primary duty of the language trainers will be to train students in remedial English apart from other tasks as assigned by the Dept. of HSS.
Pay Salary: Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 40,000 to 50,000/- per month based on qualification and experience.
Age limitations: 35 years (maximum). The maximum age may be relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved category as per GOI norms..
Education Qualification: MA in English Language Teaching (ELT). M.Phil. in ELT may be desirable qualification..
Desirable:
(i) Expertise in conducting language lab sessions with relevant software.
(ii) One (01) year experience in teaching English Language
Nature of post: One year contractual position. The contract may be renewed for one more year based on performance. Evaluation will take place every six months.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates may have to appear in a written test and/ or an interview.
