Eligibility Criteria of Income Tax Department 2021 Recruitment:

Age Limit:

• For Inspector of Income Tax: 18 to 30 years of age
• For Tax Assistant/Multi Tasking Staff: 18 to 27 years of age

Relaxation of Age: 5 years for General/OBC candidates 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates (As per Govt. of India instructions for meritorious sportspersons)

Note: The cutoff date for all the eligibility criteria, including age and education is 31.12.2020

Educational Qualification:

1. For Inspector of Income Tax:-

(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

2. For Tax Assistants:-

(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

(ii) Having Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour

3. For Multi Tasking Staff:-

(i) 10th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university

How to Apply for Income Tax Department Sportspersons Recruitment 2021

Interested candidates should be submitted in the prescribed format addressed to Income Tax Officer (Hq) (Admin). O/o Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, UP (East), Asyakar Bhawan, 5-Ashok Marg, Lucknow-226001 by Registered post only on or before 30.09.2021.

The applicant shall enclose attested copies of the following certificates:

1. Matriculation SSC or equivalent certificate for proof of age.
2. Certificates of Educational qualification.
3. Sports/ games certificates.
4. SC/ST/OBC caste certificate.
5. Copy of Aadhaar Card.

For candidates domiciled in the North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala the last date of receiving of application is 08.10.2021.
