Remuneration: Rs. 85,000/- (Eighty-Five Thousand only) per month.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 50 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. (However, for deserving candidate age relaxation may be considered depending on the health and experience).
Educational Qualification:
(a) A Cat “B” Hydrographer / SR-1 from an IHO Certified Institute OR B.Tech (Civil Engg.) / B.Tech (Survey Engg.) OR Associate Member of Institution of Surveyors in Subdivision I(B)
(b) Minimum post-qualification, the experience of 15 years in conducting Hydrographic Survey, investigation and measurements. Bathymetric Surveys (as per SP 44 standards), Topographic Survey in a variety of Geographical locations. Experience in waterways/port/river mapping with proficiency in using the GIS Software working knowledge, Spatial data formats and related metadata issues.
Working knowledge of S-57 data and ENC. Working knowledge of web mapping applications such as Google Earth, Bhuvan. Caris GIs etc.
