Educational Qualification and Selection Procedure:
Assistant Professor: As per Govt. of Assam Office memorandum no AHE.407/2017/44, dtd.08-11-2018 with the NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards and procedures for the award of the Ph.D. degree regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET. The candidates must have good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC(ST/PWD candidates.
Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Science (B.Sc.) with knowledge in computer.
Laboratory Bearer: H.S.L.C. Passed.
Age: The age of the candidates should not be more than 38 years as on 01-01-2020 with a relaxation of Five years for ST/SC/PWD candidates and Three years for OBC/MOBC candidates. The candidate must have Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) and knowledge on local language is desirable.
* In-service candidates must apply through proper, a channel with NOC obtained from the authority, concerned.
