Pay Salary: Candidates can get salary as on Pay Matrix Level- 7 (PB-2 with Grade pay – 4600/- pre-revised)

Proposed place of posting depending on vacancies:Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jammu and Raipur.

Eligibility Criteria: 

a) The officers of the central Govt. or State Govt. or Union Territories:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. or
(ii) With 5 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- in the parent cadre or department.

b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experiences:

(i) Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university; and
(ii) Two years’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.

Number of posts: 36

Pay Salary: Candidates can get salary as Pay Matrix Level-6 (PB-2 with GP 4200/- pre-revised)

Proposed place of posting depending on vacancies: Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jammu and Raipur.

Eligibility Criteria: 

a) The officers of the central Govt. or State Govt. or Union Territories:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With 6 years’ of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- in the parent cadre or department and

b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experiences:

(i) Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university; and
(ii) Experience of 2-years in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operation or Information Technology cases or Training in counter-terrorism.
