1. Name of post: SRF/SPF/JRF/JPF
Number of posts: 2
Education Qualification:
a) M.Sc. in Botany/ Environmental Sciences/ Forestry or allied subjects.
b) CSIR-UGC NET qualification for SRF/JRF (else SPF/JPF).
c) Two years of research experience for SRF/SPF.
Age limitations: Candidate should be born after 1988.
2. Name of post: Field Assistant
Number of posts: 1
Education Qualification: Matriculate or higher.
Age limitations: Candidates should be born after 1994.
Pay Salary: All positions shall be filled for a fixed tenure and extended periodically based on the progress maximally up to the completion/closure of the project. The emoluments for the positions shall be as per the conditions laid down in the project and/or governed by the rules.
The SRF/JRF with CSIR-NET qualification shall get Rs. 28,000/Rs. 25,000 (fixed). The SPF/JPF without NET qualification shall get Rs. 18,000/Rs. 16,000. The Field Assistant shall get an emolument of not more than Rs. 10000/- per months.

The shortlisted candidates shall appear for interview on April 29, 2019 (Tuesday) at 12.30 pm in the office chamber of the Head, Department of Botany in NEHU Campus, Shillong.
