Eligibility Criteria of NYKS Volunteer Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 1st April 1994 to 31st March 2005 (Minimum 18 years and maximum 29 years as of 1st April 2023).

Educational Qualification: The candidates should pass the minimum class 10th pass. 

Other Criteria: Preference in selection will be given to the following

• Candidates having higher educational qualifications and knowledge of computer applications.
• Members of NYKS-affiliated youth clubs.

Student: No regular students are eligible for applying for NYC volunteers.

Role of NYKS Volunteer

1. Each NYV has a major role of a catholic agent between youth clubs and development departments.
2. Each NYV has to prepare Youth profile of his/her block
3. Each NYV is required to be IT Savvy. Further NYVs should have the capability of preparing report/documentation of youth program and upload online. NYC should also know about preparing reports for media/news statement. Each NYV should know the using of required mobile Apps (for example Digidhan, Digital India etc).
4. Formation of New youth clubs, activisation of defunct youth clubs is the major task of each volunteer.
5. Organizing NYKs regular and special programme with the help of Youth clubs.
6. Guiding and motivating youth clubs members for involving themselves in community development programmers
7. Recommending active/ dedicated members of youth clubs for NIC, Skill training, international youth exchange programme etc. to District Youth Officer.
8. To maintain records of programmers conducted by youth clubs.
9. To submit regular reports / online reports highlighting their work on regular basis.
10. Maintain liaison with development departments and youth work agencies in the block/ district.
11. To attend meetings regularly, at concerned Kendra.
