Name of post: Junior Engineer (Civil)
No of posts: 171 [UR: 53, OBC/ MOBC: 54, SC: 7, STP: 8,STH: 22, EWS: 17]
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700/-
Educational Qualification: 3 (Three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from any Institution recognized by AICTE.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Other Criteria:
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(i) The candidate must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency.
Or
(ii) The candidate must produce a Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange in the State of Assam.
