1. Name of the post: Multi Tasking Staff
Number of posts: 12 (8-Unreserved, 1-ST, 2-OBC, 1-EWS)
Pay: Pay Level-1; Rs. 18,000-56,900
Age limitations: Candidates should not be less then 18 years and not more then 27 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.
Education Qualification:
i. 10thclass pass from a recognized board/school.
ii. 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.
2. Name of the post: Technician (Maintenance)
Number of posts: 3 [Electrician, Plumber, Bamboo Worker]
Pay: Pay Level-2; Rs. 19,900-63,200
Age limitations: Candidates should not be less then 18 years and not more then 30 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.
Education Qualification:
Matriculation from a recognised board with ITI certificate in relevant trade or certificate course from Govt. recognised institute.
3. Name of the post: Technical Assistant
Number of posts: 8 [Chemistry: 2, Botany: 1, Zoology: 1, Agriculture: 2, Forestry: 2], (UR: 3, SC: 2, OBC: 2, EWS: 1)
Pay: Pay Level-5; Rs. 29,200-92,300
Age limitations: Candidates should not be less then 18 years and not more then 30 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor degree in Science in the relevant field/ specialization or equivalent from a recognised University.
Venue of written test: The test shall be conducted at Jorhat, Agartala and Aizawl.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Non- refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred) only from any nationalized Bank in favour of Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.
Persons With Disabilities (PWD) and Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees. SC/ST candidates who apply against the vacancy of their respective quota are also exempted from payment of fees. Relaxation in fees is not applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts.
