SCERT D.El.Ed ODL Admission After 2017: SCERT, Assam Latest Updates

State Council Of Educational Research And Training in short SCERT Assam has issued an order on 26-09-2019 regarding SCERT D.El.Ed ODL Admission after 2017 that NCTE does not extended 2-year D.El.Ed course through ODL mode after the 2017-2019 session under SCERT, Assam.

In pursuance of not given extension by NOTE to 2-year D.EI.Ed course through ODL mode under SCERT, Assam after 2017-19 session, it is implied that there should not be any admission into the said course as on date.

Principals of all DIET, Normal School, BTC and the private TEIs affiliated to SCERT, Assam are directed not to admit any one into the 2-year D.El.Ed course through ODL mode to showing back date of admission. Principals defying the order will face serious consequences.

State Council of Educational Research and Training, Assam has been assigned the task to prepare professionally qualified teachers as mandated by the RTE Act to accomplish UEE by implementing Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed) through Open and Distance Learning(ODL) mode in partnership with UNICEF Assam.
