Name of post: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics. NET/GATE qualification is mandatory.
Desirable: Candidate with experience and publications (only in reputed international journals) in the area of materials science will be given additional preference.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand) only per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand) only per month for the 3rd year. No HRA will be provided. Hostel accommodation may be provided subject to availability of vacancy.
Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended further upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project or until further order, whichever is earlier. Maximum duration is three years.
Age limitations: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.
