1. Name of the post: Research Associate
Number of posts: 2 (two)
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- PM; Fixed
Education Qualification:
1) M.A. in Linguistics/ Anthropology/ English with ‘Linguistics’ specialization.
2) Ph.D. in Linguistics.
3) Ph.D. ill any of the following areas of specialization:
a) Maintenance and Revitalization of Endangered Languages, b) Field Linguistics, c) Sociolinguistics, d) Lexicography, e) Functional Linguistics
Desirable: Having worked on indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. Native speakers of indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland will be preferred.
2. Name of the post: Field Assistant
Number of posts: 3
Salary: Rs. 18,000/- PM; Fixed
Education Qualification: M.A. in Linguistics 1 Anthropology 1 English with ‘Linguistics’ specialization.
Desirable: Having worked on indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. Native speakers of indigenous languages of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland will be preferred.
Age limit: Candidates should not be more then 35 years on the date of interview.
