Name of programme: Tezpur University Summer Internship Programme 2019
Subjects: Physics, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Food Engineering and Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy, Electrical Engineering, Sociology and Social Work .
Objectives: To introduce the young talents into research at an early stage, open up the University facilities to students of other institutions and give them opportunities to interact with the experienced faculty members of the University.
Internship Fee: Rs. 2000/- and hostel accommodation rent Rs. 600/- ( mess charges will be extra). They will be required to bring their bedrolls.
Eligibility: Students of 2nd year BA/B. Sc/B.Com/B.C.A/B.B.A Programme or 3rd year B.E/B. Tech programme with consistently good academic records and a strong desire to take up research career.
How to apply Tezpur University Summer Internship Programme:
Intending candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format attached herewith so as to reach the Controller of Examinations positively by 22nd May, 2019. Applications must be forwarded by the Head of the Institution of the students. The applications should be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tezpur University, P.O- Napaam, District- Sonitpur, Assam, Pin-784028.
Application found incomplete/ received after the last date shall not be accepted. Candidates who have already attended such internship programme in this University need not apply again. The list of the selected candidates will be published in the Tezpur University website (www.tezu.ernet.in) on 30th May, 2019 (tentative). The selected candidates must report physically to the concerned Department for joining the programme with intimation to the undersigned. The request for extension of date of joining the Internship shall not be entertained in any case.
