Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700/-
Eligibility Criteria of Water Resources Department, Assam Recruitment
Resident-ship:
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. For proof of permanent residence, the candidate or his/her parents must be a voter of Assam. The voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of permanent residence.
Educational Qualification:
A candidate must have passed 3(three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Govt.
Age:
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2020.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate.
